MS-13: Why We Need The Wall NOW!

It is said that timing is everything. Timing is indeed everything. One can be at the right place at the right time or at the wrong place at the wrong time. Unfortunately, last September two teenage girls happened to be at the absolute most wrong place at the wrong time. As two young girls ages 15 and 16 were walking down the street in one of the girl's neighborhoods, two juvenile MS-13 gang members happened to be cruising in their car in search of rival gang members to kill. Unfortunately for the two young girls, upon their being spotted, a call was placed to another gang member resulting in an order for the two young girls to be killed. The first to be killed was bludgeoned to death with both baseball bats and machetes. The young girl's body was utterly unrecognizable. The second girl attempted to make a run for it, but was unsuccessful. The gang brutally murdered her as well. Two young girls, their whole lives ahead of them, ended all too soon at the hands of the most dangerous gang in not just the United States, but the world.

Just last week, on April 13th,  four young men's bodies between the ages of 16-20 were recently discovered in a Long Island park. Their bodies were found mutilated, as the four young men appeared to have been hacked to death with machetes. The bodies were so badly mutilated, local authorities wouldn't allow family members the opportunity to see their lost loved ones. Suffolk County  Police have linked the murders to MS-13. The quadruple massacre of four young men is one of a long string of homicides that have taken place in the past 18 months. The four young men were 20 and under. Two were cousins. One of the cousins had gone to visit his grandmother for Easter. He was from Florida. He and the others were at the wrong place at the wrong time. The gang's intention was to kill only one person that night. They instead killed four.

In 2005 National Geographic named MS-13 the most dangerous gang in the world. MS-13, also known as "Mara Salvatrucha", has been present in Long Island for over  decade. For whatever reason, the gang has become more active and violent in 2016. In the past 16 months a total of 15 people have been murdered, eight of them were high school students. In March, Suffolk  County police arrested at least 31 MS-13 gang members. Ten of those that were arrested were illegal, thirteen were said to  be extremely violent. Long Island has become for lack of a better term, a "mecca" for MS-13. Due to some 4000 immigrants, all unaccompanied minors , Long Island has been turned into a playground for the group MS-13.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions called MS-13, "one of the gravest threats to America's safety". He once considered naming the group a terrorist organization. The group currently has 6000 members across 46 states and is supported by more than 70,000 worldwide. The gangs strongest presence is in El Salvador and Central America.  America can thank former President Obama for the growth of MS-13. Three years ago the Obama administration looked the other way and allowed tens of thousands of unaccompanied minors from El Salvador and Central America into the U.S., placing Americans in grave danger as the gang prey on young immigrants without the direction of a parent or guardian. Unfortunately, the Obama administration failed to do much of anything to fight and rid the nation of MS-13. As of five years ago, the administration cared not to work with the FBI to go up against the gangs allowing the gang to further metastasize.

The international criminal gang  first originated in the U.S., in Los Angeles, and has spread like wildfire. MS-13 currently has its heaviest presence in Los Angeles, California and the San Francisco Bay area as well throughout California. The gang also maintains a heavy presence in Washington D.C, the metropolitan areas of Fairfax county Virginia, Montgomery County, Maryland, Prince George's County, Maryland, Queens, N.Y., Long Island, N.Y., Newark, N.J, Plainfield, N.J., Jersey City, N.J., Plainfield, N.J.,  Elizabeth NJ,  as well as , the Boston, Massachusetts area, Charlotte, N.C. and Houston , Texas as well as Miami,Florida. MS-13 has also made its way up to Ontario and Toronto, Canada as well.

MS-13 has been a threat to Americans for quite some time. In fact, for far too long of a time. The gang consisting of mostly Salvadorans and Central Americans has been in existence since the 1980s.  Members of the gang can be distinguished by their bodies and faces being covered in tattoos. Although, as their tattoos have become their trademark, more and more members are now refraining from sporting tattoos. The gang is said to even have their own sign language. The gang is infamous for their use of violence and a subcultural moral code that consists of merciless revenge and cruel retributions. The gang's horrific killings are like no other that law enforcement authorities have ever seen.

MS-13 at present is a greater threat than ISIS to America and its people. The gang's criminal activities include, drug trafficking, robbery, larceny, contract killing, human trafficking, extortion, murder, illegal immigration, prostitution, money laundering, human trafficking,  kidnapping people,  racketeering,  and arms and people smuggling. Suffice it to say the members of MS-13 are the most violent gang this country has had to date. President Trump has deemed MS-13," public enemy number one". Thankfully, America now has an administration that has vowed to take a more aggressive approach in actively going after gang members, arresting them, and removing them from society. Whether it be through deportation or incarceration, Attorney General Jeff Sessions is determined to take MS- 13 off the streets of America.

President Trump vowed to make America great again and safe again as he campaigned from coast to coast. A good part of making America safe again was his talk about a wall. It was to be a wall with a big beautiful door. America needs that wall. America needs that wall as to keep terrorists from entering our country by way of Mexico. America also needs that wall as to keep violent criminals out. Violent criminals are coming across the Mexican- U.S. border every day, and it has to stop. While President Obama cared not about the safety of Americans, President Trump does care about the safety of Americans. Unfortunately, President Trump has Congress preventing the President from being able to fulfill his campaign promise of building a wall. While the President can only do so much it's up to the American people to call their Congressmen and tell them to build the wall. Senator Ted Cruz has brilliantly suggested the funding for the wall could come from some $14 billion in assets seized from drug kingpin El Chapo Guzman. The Cruz act nicknamed the "El Chapo Act", would relieve tax payers of any cost for the building of the wall, as Mexico's paying for the wall at Trump's insistence is unlikely. The "El Chapo Act" would build the wall and aid in keeping drugs out, illegal immigrants out, terrorists out, and violent gang members out. No American deserves a violent death like those who were killed by the gang MS-13. America needs the wall and the wall will aid this administration in making America safe again.

The Silent "Issue" That Must Come To An End!

A young girl in Egypt is told it's a special day. She is told the day is for her, and for her alone. She is dressed in a party dress. She is excited and hopeful as to what the day will bring. What the day will bring, will be the end of her genitalia as how she was born. It will be the end of this little girl ever experiencing any sexual pleasure.  She will be one of an estimated 3.3 million girls that are the victims of female genitalia mutilation (FGM) each year. She will under go one of the most horrific procedures that ever could possibly be performed on a woman. For this young girl, she will have her procedure in the comfort of her own home with her mother and father watching. The doctor is not a doctor at all. He is known as the "Genital Barber". Just prior to the procedure, the young girl's smile will turn to a frown. Her giggles will turn to tears. She will be propped up on a table. Her legs will be placed up in the air, and spread apart. The "Barber" will then take an un-sanitized knife and cut the little girl's clitoris.  No anesthetic is given to ease the excruciating pain the child is forced to endure. The child will scream a blood curdling scream and sobbing will follow. She will then quite possibly have her labia lips sewn shut and she is given cotton to place in her panties. The child is clueless as to why this day that was to be so special has gone so terribly wrong. The parents feel no compassion as they watch. They are smiling. They are gleeful. They have fulfilled their barbaric religious or cultural custom. They have taken away their daughter's libido until the end of time.

While many Americans know nothing of female genitalia mutilation, others know of it, but believe it to be something that happens in other parts of the world. Female genitalia mutilation, the altering and or cutting of the female genitals is largely prominent in the Islamic community. An alarming 98% of all Somali girls and 87% of all Egyptian girls have been forced to endure the barbaric, unsanitary, deplorable procedure. Tragically, with the influx of Muslims, female genitalia mutilation is now occurring right here in the United States. Consequently, Minnesota has the largest Somali immigrant population in the U.S.  Just last week, the FBI arrested Dr. Jumana Nagarwala for performing female genitalia mutilation on girls ages 6-8 at her Livonia, Michigan office. The FBI investigation revealed that Nagarwala had performed FGM as far back as 2005.

The victims who were responsible for the arrest of Dr. Nagarwala told authorities they were going on a special girls trip when they instead went on a trip to see the doctor in Detroit, Michigan. The women described the procedure as it feeling as though they were getting shot. They were told the procedure was to get the germs out. They wrongly were led to believe the procedure was for their own good. It was instead one of the most heinous crimes one could ever imagine.  Shockingly, Dr. Nagarwala will face charges of only 5 years imprisonment for each count of FGM.

FGM is a topic unknown to most. It is a topic of which most would rather not have any knowledge. It is an almost forbidden conversation. It is a virtual silent atrocity. It is an atrocity that has tripled here in the U.S. in 25 years on girls and women ages 14-49. While FGM is prohibited in many states, it is surprisingly only a crime in 26 states. The states of CA,TX, NY, NJ, MD, and VA.  are most at risk.  The cities most highly impacted with the most women impacted by FGM are New York City and Washington D.C..  Minneapolis came is third with its high Somali population. A shocking estimated number of 513,000 girls and women are  victims of FGM here in the United States, up from 167,000 in 1997.

No girl, teenager, or woman should ever be a victim of female genitalia mutilation. There is no valid reason for such a horrible procedure to ever be performed. The procedure is a sick barbaric custom and nothing more. There are no health benefits whatsoever from the procedure. In fact, the procedure has been proven to cause health problems. Immediately following the procedure, many girls and women go into shock, have intensive bleeding, experience bacterial infections and damage to the surrounding tissue. Thereafter, girls and women are prone to recurrent bladder and urinary tract infections, cysts, infertility, as well as complications during intercourse and childbirth. Severe psychological trauma is also many times experienced by victims of FGM.

Female genitalia mutilation must come to an end, and the only way to stop it is to bring awareness. Only by bringing awareness to female genitalia mutilation can we bring an end to such an atrocity. While unpleasant, FGM must be an issue that we as Americans bring to the forefront. FGM is an issue that seems lost in the mountain of issues and concerns brought to Washington. It's up to the people to make FGM an issue in Washington.  Washington Congresswoman Elizabeth Scott has been one woman that has brought the issue of FGM to the forefront. In 2015 it was Congresswoman Scott who introduced the Female Genitalia Mutilation Bill. While the Congresswoman is to be applauded, she can not do it alone. It's up to people like us to spread the word so that no small girl, teenager, nor woman is ever subjected to such a horrific atrocity ever again. Together we can be the voice and make a difference in the fight against FGM!

Trump's Taxes Are Irrelevant!

This past week thousands of protesters took to the streets nationwide to protest the President not revealing his tax returns. What this proved I'm not so sure.  Then again it did prove a couple of things. It proved  that clearly these people have nothing better to do with their lives. It proved that these people must not work a 40-60 hour week, because if they did, one can be sure they sure as heck wouldn't spend their rare free time protesting. Why these people felt a need to protest I'm not so sure. Other than to create havoc and mayhem, nothing was accomplished. If these people did feel they accomplished some earth shattering feat, I'd love to know what it was. Did President Trump release his previous tax returns due to thousands of people protesting? No, and I have to ask just what would it matter if the President did release his tax returns? What affect would the President's tax returns have on them? The President was a successful businessman prior to taking office, He's rich. No, he's not just rich, he's incredibly wealthy. If he paid less taxes than these people think he should have, it was a thousand times what these people paid, I'm quite sure. Other than that, when Rachel Maddow thought she had found the golden carrot with Trump's 2005 tax return, America and mainstream media were surprised to discover the president had paid far higher taxes than most in his same tax bracket. In fact, it was revealed that the President paid $38 million on on his $150 million income. Trump paid at a rate of  25% which, while not the highest rate at 35% but higher than many critics of Trump. He paid more than the former the former Republican presidential candidate, Mitt Romney. Mitt Romney a critic of the President paid only 14%. He also paid more than MSNBC (Comcast) which paid 24%, Obama who paid 19% and Bernie Sanders who paid only 13%.

Why protest? I have to ask? I also have to ask these same people if they ever protested Hillary Clinton's not revealing her deleted emails? For that matter, did these people ever demand a record of how much money was actually donated from the Clinton Foundation? The answer is a big fat no. Bottom line, these protesters need to get a life, or do something more valuable with their free time . Instead of protesting, these same wonderful people could volunteer at a homeless shelter, an animal rescue facility, a hospital for vets, or a home for the elderly. They could even be a "Big Sister", or "Big Brother" to a child who has no guidance, but no, the protesters would rather "protest". Frankly, I believe the protesters are to be pitied. How miserable must the lives of these people be, as to spend their free time marching the streets about something that has no and will have no affect on them at all? Furthermore, how selfish is a group of people if they would prefer to spend their free time protesting over volunteering and doing good? The protesters need to shut up, put up , get jobs, and actually pay taxes. I'm quite sure many have not and get a life . America has had it with protesting and the protesters need to accept President Trump as their President and move on. The Republicans moved on and won after 8 years of Obama, and we didn't carry on one bit. Perhaps the Democrats could learn from the Republicans. The Democrats have a choice, accept the president with class and dignity or protest with lunacy? Democrats which will it be?

#KEEP BANNON !

Remember when President Donald J. Trump was just "candidate", Donald J. Trump? Remember when Donald J. Trump cared about the average every day American and not the top one percent? Remember when Donald J. Trump cared about the small businesses and less about big corporations? Remember when Donald J. Trump spoke of a tax plan that would aid in bringing back the middle class? Remember when Donald J. Trump cared about the middle class? Remember when Donald J. Trump had leanings more to the right and nationalism, than to left and globalism?  Remember when Donald J.Trump spoke out against the establishment, the Goldman -Sachs Executives, globalists, and neo-cons? Remember when Donald J. Trump criticized Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen by calling her a political hack, who kept interest rates low as to help the Obama administration, and accused her of creating a false market? Remember when Donald J. Trump named China as a currency manipulator, and said NATO was obsolete? Remember when Donald J. Trump was against Obama getting involved in the war in Syria?  Remember when the Trump campaign was in serious danger of losing, but then due to the hiring of Kellyanne Conway as his campaign manager,  and Steve Bannon, as chief executive officer,  he turned around and won? Remember Donald J. Trump the candidate, was the candidate that appeared to be as important to many as the second coming of Christ?

I do remember the candidate, Donald J. Trump, and from what I am seeing of President Donald J. Trump, I am somewhat confused. While strides to make America great again are being taken, I am seeing an administration that is looking more and more like that of a Democratic administration and not a Republican administration. In fact, President Donald J. Trump's administration could be likened to that of what I envisioned would be a Hillary Clinton administration. I didn't vote for Hillary Clinton. I voted for Donald J. Trump and the platform on which he ran.  I also didn't vote for the president's daughter, Ivanka, nor did I vote for the president's son in-law, Jared Kushner. At present there is chatter the two think they are the real "first couple".  Hearing this is concerning to many. Jared Kushner a now senior adviser to the president, is a Democrat  who contributed $100,000 to Democrats. To name a few, Hillary in 2000, Chuck Schumer, and Cory Booker.  Kushner also contributed to the campaigns of Democrats that supported Obama on granting temporary legal status to millions of illegal immigrants in 2014. Not to mention, that Jared's father, Charles, supposedly admired by the president, served two years in prison for income tax evasion, illegal campaign contributions, and witness tampering. It is believed that Jared Kushner can not possibly share the same views as Steve Bannon, a real conservative who once had the president's ear. Nor can First Daughter Ivanka have the same views as Steve Bannon.  The candidate, Donald J. Trump ran on a Steve Bannon agenda, and that was the agenda so many Americans embraced. It was an agenda of "America First". It was an agenda of new political order. It was an agenda against Goldman Sachs being in charge of our nation's economics. It was an agenda against the globalists. It was a nationalist economic agenda. It was a conservative agenda. It was the agenda of Donald J. Trump. Is it the agenda of President Trump? When mainstream media and  more and more Democrats, as well as  those in opposition to the President, are applauding the President instead of critiquing the president, one has to think twice.

Today the nationalist economic agenda of Donald J. Trump appears to be nothing, but that of a distant memory. Just recently, the liberal  based Politico publication named President Trump, "Donald Rodham Clinton". As his cabinet appears to be looking more and more "Clintonian", it's hard to argue. Another publication stated that having Kushner and Ivanka at the helm of the administration would ensure they would carry the "Clintonian torch".  It's hard to defend the President's cabinet, as his cabinet is consisting of the very people whom he spoke out against.  Just to name a few, the President once against Democrat,  Janet Yellen serving another term as Chairwoman of the Federal Reserve, the President is now said to be  considering her serving another term.  Gary Cohn, the president's chairman of the National Economic Council was not surprisingly brought in by the President's  Democrat son in-law Jared Kushner. Cohn, a Democrat is the former Chief Operating Officer and president of Goldman-Sachs. Cohn chiefly reflects the socially liberal and economically conservative views of Wall Street power brokers. Steve Mnuchin, the Secretary of Treasury, is a hedge fund man who before working for George Soros' funded One West Bank worked for Goldman-Sachs. Mnuchin is said to have contributed to both Hillary Clinton's senate and presidential campaigns. Dina Powell, the U.S. Deputy National Security Adviser for Strategy, brought in by First Daughter, Ivanka,  is  yet another Goldman Sachs alumni. Powell was president of the Goldman-Sachs Foundation. Powell may well be a registered Republican is said to be for globalization. Let it also be noted that Powell replaced K.T. McFarland a person far more qualified for such a position with her vast experience as a Fox News Security analyst, and extensive resume working for former Republican presidents. K.T. McFarland has been moved to the position of Ambassador to Singapore. While it is believed by some that McFarland was not a good fit for the her position. others are not surprised with the departure of like minded former National Security Adviser, ousted, General Mike Flynn. Flynn's replacement is presently H. R. Lt. General H.R. McMaster, who is said to have interventionist leanings to the left. Leanings to the left seems to be a good thing in the Trump administration.

Perhaps the demise of the Bannon-Trump agenda was Steve Bannon being on the cover of Time magazine on February 13th. Time magazine titled the cover, "The Great Manipulator", Steve Bannon, Chief White House Strategist. While one may not be a fan of the liberal based mainstream media, one has to give credit to Time magazine for being a great manipulator themselves. In essence, Time magazine quite possibly manipulated the President. As it has been rumored that President Trump likes to keep all magazines in which his puss graces the cover, he may well have felt one upped by Steve Bannon. Steve Bannon gracing the cover could have been the final straw, as there was much talk that Bannon was the actual president ,and Trump was merely a puppet. While it is doubtful that such is true, mainstream media may well have played a part in the changes in the Trump agenda. Well not just mainstream media, as son in-law Jared Kushner and First Daughter Ivanka are also said to have a desire for the removal of Bannon.

The removal of Steve Bannon, a man who was so  instrumental in the success of Trump's campaign could possibly be coming sooner than later. Just last week Bannon has lost his position on the principals committee of the National Security council. A man that was once the President's right arm was just recently snubbed publicly by the president. In a recent exchange with New York Post columnist, Michael Goodwin. Trumps exact words when asked about Steve Bannon were as follows, "I like Steve, but you have to remember he was not involved in my campaign until very late. I had already beaten all the senators and all the governors, and I didn’t know Steve. I’m my own strategist and it wasn’t like I was going to change strategies because I was facing crooked Hillary."  The President's statement certainly took any and all credit away from Steve Bannon. The fact is, while President Trump had a great deal of support at the time, his numbers were also falling prior to Steve Bannon and Kellyanne Conway. The Bannon, Trump, Conway, and General Flynn team was a winning team. It was their vision, their agenda, and their strategy that won the presidency. Unfortunately, with Jared and Ivanka said to be in charge of hiring, the MAGA Trump agenda will be sure to be lost.

It is said that in competition that one should always change a losing game and never change a winning game. When President Trump won, he won with a winning team. It was a team that vowed to "Make America Great Again". It was team that cared about small businesses, and creating jobs. It was a team that cared about the middle class by lowering taxes. It was a team that vowed to repeal and replace the inevitably imploding Obama Care.  It was a team  that vowed to block the influx of unvetted Muslim immigrants. It was a team that vowed to wage war on the terrorist group ISIS. It was a team that didn't believe in unnecessary wars. ( Bannon is said to have not recommended the air strike in Syria) It was a team that vowed to close America's borders, and build a wall. It was to be a big wall with a big beautiful door. It was a team that heard the people and it was a team that said what the people wanted to hear.

"You can't always get what you want", was the song played at the President's rallies, and perhaps such is true. America wanted a president who would go after and defeat ISIS, and President Trump proved he will in dropping the MOAB (mother of all bombs) on ISIS in Afghanistan just last week after an American green beret had been killed. Defeating ISIS is indeed what I and America wanted out of the Trump administrtion. However,  many of the changes within the Trump administration are not what I and many conservatives wanted. I voted for and wanted President Trump and First Lady Melania in the White House. I also voted for the Bannon Nationalist agenda. I did not vote for Jared Kushner and Ivanka. Had Jared and Ivanka been listed in the Republican primary, I would not have voted for them. Their ideology is not of which the Trump campaign ran.  As it appears with infighting that Kushner is pushing Bannon out, the nationalist ideology may well be lost, but then "you can't always get what you want", or is it, "you can't always get everything you want?

Syria Airstrike, Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down?

Last week as the President was being served a "beautiful piece of chocolate cake", the United States launched an air strike on a Syrian airbase in response to a chemical weapons attack as ordered by Bashar Assad. Finally, America had a President that didn't mince words, walked the walk, and didn't just talk the talk. President Obama drew his infamous "red line" against Assad and failed to follow up. In doing so, America appeared weak. America's words meant nothing. President Trump's air strike spoke volumes, but in hindsight, was it smart?

Was it smart to get involved in a nation that is a hot mess of war, turmoil, confusion and strife? Was it smart when it is Assad who is protecting the Christians in Syria? Was it smart when it is Assad who is fighting and winning a war against ISIS? Was it smart when it put our poor relations with Russia to an all time low? Was it smart when it heightened and strengthened the relations between Syria, Russia, and Iran? Was it smart when it is still questionable as to whether or not it was in fact Assad who ordered the chemical weapons attack? Was it smart when it has been reported that the President launched the air strikes due to the First Daughter, Ivanka, and chief adviser urging him to do so? It has been reported that First Daughter Ivanka,, was deeply moved by the images of the children suffering from the affects of being attacked by the sarin gas attack, and therefore she wanted her father to take action. Perhaps the First Daughter should know that worldwide on a daily basis, children are being tortured, and massacred. Would she then want the President to declare war on all those persecuting children? Was the air strike on Syria smart when there are conflicting reports of Assad being framed in the past for using chemical weapons against his own people? Was it smart when it appears no one is 100% certain without a shade of doubt that Assad was the one responsible for the sarin gas attack? Was it smart?

Was the air strike against Syria smart? I honestly don't know. What I do know from being in touch with a Syrian who is in the Kurdish army is that he, a Kurd, could care less about those affected by the Sarin gas attack. In fact, the young soldier referred to those affected as, "Arab pigs".  Who's who? What's what? Who are the good guys? Who are the bad guys? Which team are we on? Do we even know the good team from the bad team? The fact is, I have doubt that anyone really knows. If a Kurdish Syrian soldier doesn't care about those who were victims of the sarin gas attack, why do we? While no one could watch the images of the violent affects of sarin gas on babies, women, men, and children without compassion, it's not our problem. Harsh as it may sound, it's the truth.

The fact of the matter is, the Middle East has been turned into hell hole of no return. It is my belief that the Middle East will be fighting until the end of time. A 19 year old Syrian Kurd is fighting with America against ISIS day after day, month after month. While other 19 year olds are going to school, going to movies, playing football, baseball and chasing girls, this young man is fighting. He is fighting ISIS at present. His life is killing the "Arab pigs". He posts pictures of his ISIS captives that one knows will soon be killed. He shows video of shooting ISIS multiple times after the "Arab pigs" are already dead. He fights alongside friends and loses some along the way. He hopes one day America will intervene and remove Bashar al-Assad. He fights for his freedom against the "Arab pigs". Who is he? He is good I am lead to believe, so who were the people struck by the sarin gas attack? They were "Arab pigs" according to the Syrian Kurdish soldier. Were they ISIS followers? Do we know? Can we know? Who is this Kurdish soldier? Is he Muslim? Is he Christian? No he is not. He is Jewish. He is Jewish, yet he wants  Kurdistan to take over all of Syria and move to Israel. Israel is predominately Jewish, yet he refers to them as the "Arab pigs". Who's who, what's what, is from all indications anybody's guess.

They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results. The stabilization of any country we have attempted to aid has failed, and it has failed miserably. While there's talk of  National Security Advisor, L.T. Gen. H. R. McMaster placing 150,000 troops in Syria, the President says he has no plans of getting involved in Syria. Let us hope the President doesn't change his mind as he has on several statements made. The fact is, America can not and should not get involved in the war in Syria. We can not get involved in a region that is forever at war with one another. The war between those of various religions and beliefs will never be solved. While it is disturbing to watch the continuous attacks on innocent civilians, it's not our problem.

America appeared strong with its air strike against Assad, but what if anything did it accomplish?  A week later at least 110 people, many of them innocent children, were killed in a suicide attack near Idlib, Syria. It intensified already tense relations with Russia and Iran. It gave a  false hope to the civilians in Syria that America would rid them of Bashar al-Assad. It showed the world President Trump is unafraid to use weaponry to show America's strength. Was the air-strike on a Syrian air-base that was left operable a smart move? I'm not so sure. It's one of a conundrum that's for certain. What I am certain of, is that it's a war America should never be in and it's a war no one will ever win. It's a war that if declared, could well lead to WW III ,and that's a war, let us pray will never be.

GOP GIRL Transcript From Rush

RUSH: Sean in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Hi, Sean.
CALLER: Hi, Rush. Thank you so much for taking my call —
RUSH: My pleasure.
CALLER: — because I am irate, if you want to be honest. I am a blogger — I’m a political blogger — and I wrote over 200 blogs for this man, for President Trump, in favor of him, on what he campaigned on. And what I’m seeing these past couple weeks, you know, I voted for Team Bannon. I did not vote for the president’s daughter; I did not vote for Jared Kushner — two Democrats. (crosstalk)
RUSH: Wait. Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hold it just a second there. Sean, you had to know, because it happened in the campaign. You had to know that Ivanka and Jared have his ear. You had to know. I mean, I know what you mean when you said you weren’t voting for them, but you know. I mean, it’s family. You know that they’ve got his ear and that he’s loyal to them.
CALLER: I knew hey would have his ear. I did not know they would have so much pull. Because, you know, it’s like just recently it came out that Kevin Hassett is coming on board. Well, he’s for outsourcing! Trump was supposed to be anti-immigration, anti-outsourcing. You know, he’s flip-flopped — within the past few days — on NATO. He was against it. Now he’s for it. You know, China controls the currency. You know, now, “No, America,” and it’s like, you know, and then this bombing in Syria.
You know, at first I was like, “You know what? Yes, I guess we had to do it.” But then, I’m hearing rumors that Ivanka saw the pictures of the babies and Ann Coulter made a great point. She said, “Republicans don’t do things for humanitarian reasons.” I mean, there are children dying everywhere! There are children being shot in Chicago! I mean, is Ivanka gonna say, “Hey, Daddy, go to Chicago and bomb Chicago because people are getting shot”? I mean — and I know that’s obviously a gross exaggeration, but it’s very upsetting.
I mean, I am talking to a man that’s a Kurdish fighter for Kurdistan, and I’m asking him about the gassing in Syria. You know what he said to me? And he’s fighting with our men against ISIS. He’s sending me videos of what’s going on on the battlefield. I mean, these guys don’t mess around. They’re killing ISIS. He hates ISIS; he hates Assad. He’d like America to come in and get rid of Assad, and I said something about the people that were gassed. He said, “I don’t care about them. They’re Arab pigs.”
And I’m thinking, “Then who are you?” It’s a mess over there, and it’s like, you know, it would be great in a perfect world to make a safe world and a better world for everyone, but, I mean, we spent $95 million — I think that’s the figure for the Tomahawk missiles — and what did we fisher? That we’re strong and we’re not gonna watch people suffer? People are suffering every day. That $95 million? Hey! Could have helped fund the failing Obamacare.
I mean, the president has not passed one piece of domestic legislation. Has he done some good things? Yes, he has. Am I still behind him? Yes, I am. But I have some valid concerns. I voted for a non-establishment, a non-globalist, a non-Democrat. I voted for a Republican. I voted for someone who was gonna — who was gonna bring back the middle class, and tax reform isn’t gonna be until next year until after Obamacare! The wall? That’s been on the back burner. I’m upset!
RUSH: I hear that.
CALLER: (laughing)
RUSH: Loud and clear. What I was… Before you were halfway through, I was thinking of trying to play devil’s advocate with you on a couple of things, but you have covered the spectrum. You want me to play devil’s advocate on just a couple things and get your take on them?
CALLER: Yes. I would. I would love your take.
RUSH: Well, it’s not my take.
CALLER: Okay.
RUSH: I just want to give you another way of looking at something and see you how react to it.
CALLER: Okay.
RUSH: Let’s talk about NATO. I’ve mentioned this earlier today, so if you’ve heard it, folks, please beg your indulgence while I go through it here with Sean. During the campaign, you’re right. The president complained loudly that we were doing dumb things in NATO because most of the member states were not paying their fair share, that we were paying a way outside burden and we weren’t getting anything for it. And it was stupid and dumb, and if it didn’t change than NATO may as well just go away.
People hear that and say, “Right on, man! We don’t need to prop up these socialist democracies that won’t pay their fair share. Right on, Trump, you go!” Now, Trump says all this and he raises hell and then he starts calling them out for not paying their dues. Now, guess what? These nations… All of a sudden, we got a statement today from the NATO secretary general that all of these nations Trump called out are now stepping up and paying their “dues.” Meaning: They’re spending 2% of GDP on defense or they’re intending to. They’re allocating it.
And so in that sense Trump is now saying NATO’s okay because he made everybody play straight and contribute their fair share and essentially saved it. And he would tell you that his opener here during the campaign — ripping into NATO as something worthless and outmoded — was simply to get people to step up, pay their fair share. And he’s done that. And therefore this is a success, not a flip-flop. If somebody explained it to you that way, what would your reaction be?
CALLER: Then I would say, “He’s a great manipulator and he accomplished what no one else has been able to accomplish.” And, you know, I applaud him for that.
RUSH: Okay, let’s go to the ChiComs.
CALLER: Right.
RUSH: You mentioned the Chinese and currency manipulation. You’re right! During the campaign he beat up China every day he beat ’em up on the currency manipulation, he beat ’em up on trade he beat ’em up on outsmarting our own negotiators. He said it wasn’t gonna go on any longer. Now all of a sudden, guess what happens? He has a meeting with the ChiCom leader at Mar-a-Lago, he has a phone call with the ChiCom leader, and ChiCom leader is now telling the North Koreans to stand down or the Chinese are gonna abandon ’em.
Now, no matter how you look at it, that has to be looked at the in certain ways as a success because I’ll guarantee you this, Sean, there is no way Barack Obama — I don’t know anybody else — would have made the Chinese, convinced the Chinese, to abandon their communist blood brother North Koreans. So, yeah. He can say, “I was threatening them! I told them what-for. I told them we’re not gonna screw around… If they keep manipulating the currency, we’re gonna get it back in the way we trade.
And now he’s converted this Xi Jinping leader in China into a… Well, it’s all apparent. I mean, the threat that they made to North Korea is real, and North Korea’s been out there launching missiles. They haven’t been aiming ’em right. But they’re threatening to do all kinds of things to us, and Trump threatened them. And the Chinese told the North Koreans, “He’s not bluffing. Do not think he’s bluffing.” The Chinese went to the North Koreans and said, “Do not look at this guy the way you looked at previous presidents. He intends to take you out if you keep this up.” Now, people would tell you this is a success in terms of foreign policy with the Chinese.
CALLER: Okay. No, I agree. Like I said, he’s done some good things. But it’s just… You know, it’s hard to —
RUSH: Let’s look at Syria. Let’s look at Syria. You made the point that we can’t go everywhere where there’s suffering, children suffering. We shouldn’t have Ivanka — because she sees pictures that make her cry — go to the president and him bomb the people responsible for it. The reason you have a serious complaint here is Trump’s tweets during the campaign. There were numerous tweets — and I’m sure you remember ’em — where he basically told Obama, “Don’t go into Syria. It’s a no-win. You can’t. You don’t even know if you’re gonna hit the right target. If you hit the wrong target, you got a bigger mess than ever.
“We need to spend that money in America, put America first, make America great. Don’t waste it in Syria.” And yet here he is launching 59 Tomahawks into Syria. But what is the message sent? Those 59 Tomahawks, while the ChiCom leader is having dinner with Trump in Mar-a-Lago, probably went a long way to convincing the ChiCom leader to tell the North Koreans, “Look, this guy is a madman. You can’t look at him as previous presidents! If he says he’s gonna take you out, he’s not bluffing. ” So these missiles that launch into Syria? It sends messages to Russia. It sends a message to the Norks and to the Chinese.
We’ve had eight years of passivity with Barack Obama where whatever anybody around the world wanted to do to America, we just huffed and puffed and did nothing. And with Donald Trump, you want to do something to America, there’s gonna be a price. And if you offend our sensibilities — and, say, it’s a wanton violation of human rights like gas attacks — we’re not gonna put up with it. And he says and does what he does. So the question is, as you…? Are these flip-flops and betrayals, or is it something else? And you’ve decided that they’re flip-flops and betrayals and you’re not happy about it. Would you like to plug your blog? Would you like to give us the name of your blog?
CALLER: Sure. It’s GOPGirlBlog.blogspot.com.
RUSH: GOPGirlBlog.blogspot.com. Okay.
CALLER: And I’m fair to the president. You know what? I will always call him on all of this, you know, good things. I mean, you know, I just saw that we’re deporting I think it’s 4,000 Somalis, and I posted that on Facebook. I mean, I will always tout things that I think are great. But, I mean, I do get concerned when I see globalists that may be able to persuade him to go in a direction that I don’t like him to go.
RUSH: Yeah, I know. We’ve been talking about today, and there’s no question that there is a battle among the staff in the White House. There are some neocons in there who are trying to… You know, they want war in the Middle East, and they’d love for Trump to do it. Your sensibilities in that in terms of being (sigh) concerned about it I think are accurate. But I don’t think we’re getting the whole story on that. I just had a story in the Washington Free Beacon about how the National Security Council… People are dumping on Jared Kushner today, Sean.
Somebody leaked to the Washington Free Beacon that Jared Kushner is try to take over the National Security Council. Not Bannon. Jared Kushner. Somebody is leaking against the president’s own son-in-law — and, by extension, his own daughter. Now, who would be doing this? Well, it has to be somebody at the National Security Council who doesn’t want Jared getting a foothold in there. Names? I won’t go there. Sean, look, I appreciate the call. I gotta go. Don’t be surprised if your server has been swamped and taken off line. That always happens. We mentioned a website here, and the volume takes it down for a while. But you’ll be back. It won’t be long. Give me that address one more time.
CALLER: GOPGirlBlog.blogspot.com.
RUSH: Okay.
CALLER: And I’m anything but politically correct!
RUSH: Okay. I could tell that.
CALLER: (laughing)
RUSH: And I like that, and we’ll also link to your blog at RushLimbaugh.com. As I say, we’ve shut you down now or soon will, but you’ll be back. Your opportunity is to maximize all of this attention. And I don’t doubt that you’ll be able to do that. Thanks for the call.
BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: I have a little question for you. I’m just throwing it out there, folks. It’s one of these questions just to ponder it. I’m not throwing it out there intending to make a point. If you have an immigration refugee policy, which Trump, he tried twice the travel ban, nobody from Syria ’til further notice, nobody from Syria, no refugees from Syria, right?
Okay, and then Assad starts gassing his own people, how do you refuse Syrian refugees after Assad gasses? Well, I’m just throwing it out. To some people it may not be a problem. “It’s not our job to save the world. I don’t care, we didn’t bomb them.” I’m just throwing it out there. No express purpose.

What Happened to America First?

"America first", words that spoke to millions of Trump supporters. President Donald Trump campaigned on placing America first, and  Americans first. For eight long painful years America had a president in Barrack Obama that seemed to place illegal immigrants "first", Muslims "first", and the welfare and feelings of other countries "first". For eight years America had a president who apologized for its actions of the past and stood up for those from other countries . America felt as though it had an enemy in its president and not an ally, let alone a leader. America was lost and America had found hope in President Trump. America had found hope, as America had found a man who dared to utter the words, "America first".

In President Trump's first 100 days in office much has been accomplished.  He has been successful in having a Judge Scalia likeminded judge, Judge Neil Gorsuch, confirmed to the Supreme Court. In threatening to defund Sanctuary cities, the President has been successful in cracking down on them. The President has revived both the Dakota and Keystone pipelines, thus creating jobs. The President has pulled the United States from TPP, which would have proven disastrous. The President accused of not liking women during the presidential campaign,  has signed an executive order promoting women in STEM jobs. The President has rolled back the Obama-era regulations that made it virtually impossible for small businesses to hire more employees. President Trump has signed an executive order giving "big league" funding to Black Universities and colleges. President Trump has signed an executive order protecting our police who were forgotten by President Obama. The President has increased funding to our military  that was so drastically depleted by former President Obama.  The President has placed a 5 year and lifetime lobby ban on government officials before they leave office. The President signed an executive order cracking down on drug cartels. The President brought back the coal industry and enacted Joint Resolution 38, thus putting thousands of coal miners back to work. The President negotiated a deal with Carrier, promising to bring manufacturing jobs back to the U.S. The President has met with several CEOs vowing to bring back jobs to America. Softbank promised 50,000 American jobs while Intel promised not only a $7 billion investment, but some 3000 high paying jobs. All in all, as so it would seem, the past 80 days have been about the President Making America Great Again.

While the president has been successful in many issues internationally, he has not actually had a single piece of domestic legislation passed. Internationally, we're doing great. Case in point, the President's meeting last week with the President of China was a huge success. The two presidents discussed the threat of North Korea, Trump rolled back his accusation of China manipulating the dollar, China abstained from voting at the U.N. in regards to the Syrian gas attack, and China even went so far as to reject coal from North Korea. China instead will purchase coal from the U.S. While President Trump's international dealings are to be applauded, his all important domestic campaign promises are to be frowned upon. A poorly written travel ban was challenged and halted. Since the travel been has been halted, over 3000 people have been admitted into the U.S. who were from countries banned by the President. While many were quite disappointed in the president's travel ban being halted, even more Americans were disappointed in the failure to repeal and replace Obama Care. President Trump promised he would repeal and replace Obama Care, and he has not. The President will not repeal and replace Obama Care anytime soon, thanks to both the Republicans and the Democrats. As if the nightmare of Obama Care not being repealed and replaced isn't worrisome enough, Americans will also have to wait for tax reform. Tax reform, a key issue on the campaign trail, will be looked at next year or after Obama Care is repealed and replaced. Unfortunately, the middle class, a declining population, will likely go further into economic hardship if something isn't done sooner than later.

"Build the wall!" "Lock her up" ! The President and his supporters chanted both. They chanted both statements as they were encouraged to do  by the President. We, the people, chanted as we, the people, truly believed in our president, in that he would take care of both. Sadly, there is no funding for the wall, and there likely may never be. Likewise, Hillary Clinton will likely never be "locked up'! Let it be said that one can not have millions of people chant,"lock her up" and not actually, "lock her up". I voted for a man that in one of many debates, looked  Hillary Clinton in the eye, and said, "you'd be in jail". I voted for a man who stood up to the establishment, said he would #draintheswamp, and vowed to put America and its people first. Leaving the middle class behind is not placing America first.

America first? Many don't think so. They don't think so as the President seems to be abandoning the very rhetoric and platform that made up his campaign. Draining the swamp was about placing non-globalists and non-Democrats in the White House. At present, there's talk of Steve Bannon being pushed out, and the President's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, being the real driving force in the White House. Having Jared Kushner in the White House is deeply concerning. Jared Kushner is a Democrat and a globalist. He is not for whom we the people voted, and not what we the people want running our country. We, the people, did not see Jared Kushner at the helm of the campaign trail once, and yet he is presently sitting in on national security briefings and aiding the president on foreign affairs. Placing Jared Kushner in charge of our nation is not putting America first. Likewise, having the president's daughter involved in decisions, such as launching an airstrike against Syria is not what we, the people, signed up for, nor is it putting America first. While Ivanka Trump might be terrific as an advocate for working women and mothers, she is not qualified to be making decisions within our government be it domestically or internationally. Having Jared Kushner who is now being threatened with having his national security revoked in charge is unacceptable, and it is not putting America first! America first is what the President campaigned on and for which I voted  when I placed my vote. As more and more time passes, I see a Trump administration being taken over by globalists, and liberals. Liberals and globalists that do not have the best interest of the American people at hand. Kushner, Mnuchin, Cohn, aand  Ross, are globalists and Wall Street Democrats that have no business in the Trump administration. They are not the cabinet of a Republican. Many in Trump's cabinet are about open borders, pro-immigration, outsourcing jobs, and wars with nations that have no hope of stabilization, are not the policies of the President Trump for whom I voted.I voted for a man that stood for what he believed, and put America first, and with all do respect that is not today's President Trump. Today's President Trump is not all about America First, but instead about the globalist agenda first. As the globalist agenda seems to be rolling into the White House, Trump's policies seem to be rolling out the door. The fact is, with various flip flops within days of one another, one is hard pressed to know what's what. Could it be that the great negotiator is keeping all options on the table as to make the best deal? If so, just who does that best deal favor? Does it favor he and his globalist elitist friends or will it place America first? I, for one, am at present a spectator of the White House, a spectator that wonders just for whom I voted. Is America still first?

America Has Respect of the World Again

America Is Back!

He said he'd make America great again, and indeed he has. America is great again and it is again ready to lead again. In launching a missile strike against Syria Friday, President Trump made America the superpower it once was again. No more does America have a  President who draws meaningless red lines in the sand. No more will America have a president mincing words. America now has a president that says what he means and does what he says. America is back, and it's back as a super power.

Last Tuesday the most toxic chemical weapons attack took place in Syria. The worst attack since 2014 occurred and the world watched in horror. As much of the world was outraged, one man could not just watch. That one man was President Trump. Upon watching the footage of dozens of babies and children gasping for breath, writhing in pain, choking, and foaming at the mouth, he could not just sit and do nothing. Over 85 people killed, and hundreds more were injured from the fatal sarin gas attack as ordered by President Bashar Al-Assad. What took place was horrific and unacceptable. Unlike former President Barrack Obama who drew a red line in the sand with Assad as he bombed his own people, and did nothing, President Trump did something. President Trump used no false words. He used missiles. He used 59 Tomahawk missiles to be exact. President Trump launched the air strike just prior to hosting a dinner with the Chinese President, Xi JinPing.  In using missiles against a Syrian airbase, President Trump showed the world that America is back as a leader. Not only is America back as a leader, but America is back as a nation that will stand up against evil.

The world has looked for leadership from America and they received none under Barrack Obama. The world now again has the leadership it has longed for from President Trump. President Trump has shown our allies and our enemies that he will not stand by and do nothing when a call for help is made. While the Syrian crisis is not our crisis. No humane, compassionate person with authority could do nothing when it comes to the suffering of children. While the left would like to paint President Trump as a racist who hates Muslims, President Trump just took action on the side of Muslims. As such is true that President Trump wants to halt the immigration of Syrian refugees and other Muslims, he does not want them to suffer either. President Trump first and foremost cares for the safety of America and until a proper vetting process can be devised, he is trying to temporarily halt the immigration of Muslims.

While the left has criticized President Trump on his travel ban, they have now praised him for his air strikes in Syria. The question is, what's next? While many Syrians praised President Trump, the general consensus is that the Syrian people do not wish to be refugees in the United States. The Syrian people want to be allowed to live peacefully in their own country. With President Bashar Al-Assad in power, a peaceful existence for the people of Syria is highly doubtful. However, Assad along with Russia, is being successful in fighting ISIS and keeping ISIS from being in control of Syria. The question is, what action will President Trump take next? While a warning against a leader gassing his own people was what was right at the time, Americans are left to ask, what next? Does the United States go again into the Mid East, a virtual hell hole of turmoil, suffering, and barbarism among the civilized and tortured? Does the United States go to the aid of those who can not help themselves? America is indeed again who the rest of the world will look to for guidance, and the world is also asking, "what next"? Can the United States fight both Assad and ISIS? Can the United States trust that if Assad is removed from power, a worse more tyrannical regime won't then take the place of Assad? Only time will tell. In the meantime, we as Americans must trust and have faith that President Trump will do what is right and what is just.
