THE TRUMP TAKEOVER!

President Donald Trump having just accepted the Republican nomination to run for re-election.

America's First Family, the President visibly disengaged.

Tweet on the choice of attire by the First Lady

America presently has over six million coronavirus cases, over 186,000 deaths , is going at a rate of some 1000 deaths per day, and America's president selfishly held a super spreader event at the White House this past week. Ignoring the fact that millions of Americans have been unable to hold funerals to honor their deceased friends and families, have not been able to hold weddings, birthday parties, and so forth due to a deadly pandemic that is not gone, but still very much out of control. The super spreader event was a three ring circus held on the White House Lawn with 1500 mostly mask-less attendees sitting in close proximity to one another, and only a handful having been tested for COVID-19. The White House, otherwise known as "the people's house" was used as a political prop for the president, something never done before in the history of our nation. Had former Presidents Barrack Obama, Bill Clinton, or any Democratic candidate ever used the White House as a political prop, Republicans would have been up in arms and accused them of being fascist dictators, tyrants, and or socialists. The Republicans instead stood silent.
Millions of Americans, Republicans, Democrats, and Independents watched the RNC convention in astonishment as the platform was built mostly on lies, misleading statements, falsehoods, and deception. While the White House Lawn being used by the president was distasteful at best, most remembered just might be the screaming lunatic girlfriend of the president's son Don Jr.. as Kimberly Guilfoyle screamed "THE BEST IS YET TO COME", to a room of one or two people. I couldn't help but wonder just what the hell we were waiting for? The president has had four years, and his America isn't pretty. I'd hate to see what another four years under Trump would do to America. As if Kimberly Guilfoyle's odd speech wasn't bad enough America then got to hear from Don Jr. with glazed over eyes causing "Republicans love cocaine" and various cocaine memes to be trending on Twitter. While a Republican cocaine convention was trending on Twitter, so too was First Lady Melania's Nazi like attire. While the First Lady has always been lovely, and well dressed, her military like style was quite offensive to many. Night two ,the First Lady spoke in the newly renovated Rose Garden, another super spreader event with maskless attendees possibly violating the hatch act . While former First Ladies have worn feminine dresses or suits to speak on behalf of their husbands, First Lady Melania chose an Alexander McQueen military suit that was likened on social media to be like that of a Nazi or Fidel Castro. Nonetheless, many Americans took the First Lady's attire as a message as well as her speech. The message was that the Trump family was in power and they were here to stay.
While America may have found many components of the first two nights of the RNC troubling, I myself, was deeply disturbed by the President's entrance inside of the White House as to hold a naturalization ceremony aired live during the RNC convention. Let it be noted that the naturalization ceremony was conducted with 5 people that were not told that they would be used for the president's purposes. The president's purpose was to mislead Americans into thinking he is for legal immigration using five people that come from the very countries the President refers to as "shithole countries". The President in Dictator like fashion, made his entrance to music playing as two marines stood on each side of the doorway, as if a king not a president were entering the premises. America does not have kings! America does not have Dictators, or does it?
What America witnessed this past week was an abomination of the United States presidency. Millions of Americans watched in horror as the White House lawn had been turned into a three ring circus. Two large television screens with "TRUMP PENCE", lit up in red, white and blue were on each side of the stage, dozens of American flags blew in the breeze, and at night's end, opera was sung during a much unnecessary fireworks display. The only thing missing were carnival rides, and cotton candy and popcorn machines. The message was loud and clear to any American watching, that the America of yesterday was no more under Donald Trump. It was also clear that the White House was not the people's house, it was Donald Trump's house. While Donald Trump may have lay claim to the White House, and turned the White House lawn into a Trump overly ostentatious nightmare, Donald Trump did not fool all who were watching. It was evident that the president's handlers had advised the president to not be his authentic self. It was also evident to those who have been truly following the latest events across the nation that the president was attempting to rewrite history, his history.

The president's history since January has been that America has had a president that has been ignorant, oblivious, negligent, unhinged, and unsympathetic. However, the RNC painted a picture of Donald Trump being quite the opposite. Let us not forget that when Donald Trump was asked about 1000 Americans dying in an interview with Jonathan Swan Trump's reply was, "people are dying, that's true, it is what it is".  Let us not forget when Donald Trump suggested people ingest lysol as to cure COVID-19 which sadly two people did and died. The Donald Trump of this past week was a very different Donald Trump. It was a caring, and sympathetic Donald Trump. However, the caring and sympathetic president showed he was anything, but as he singled out First Daughter, Ivanka, to "stand up" but not his other children. Most obviously hurt by the President were sons, Barron, Don Jr., and Tiffany. If Americans were bothered by the president not being concerned by over 186,000 Americans dying, the President doesn't even seem to care about the feelings of his own children, let alone anyone else. That was clear as the President failed to protect his attendees of his acceptance speech as they left the White House to return to their homes and or hotels. Senator Rand Paul and his wife were attacked as they left the White House in Trump's unsafe America. One would have thought the President would have taken care of his attendees.
Four more years of Donald Trump? America better pray not. Unfortunately. not one Republican in office spoke out against all the lies, deceit, laws broken and deception by Donald Trump. Republicans sat and did nothing! Thank God for the 30 something former prominent Republicans supporting Joe Biden.  The Republicans are using tactics threatening socialism under Biden, yet what's taking place within our government at present is socialism. When you have a president that takes over the CDC, the FDA, the media, and what is reported by the Pentagon you have socialism. Four more years of Donald Trump? Four more years of a president aiding in the spread of a pandemic and not preventing it? Four more years of a president that encourages anarchy and violence? Four more years of a president that idolizes and protects Dictators? Four more years of a president that has threatened relations and tarnished America's standing with it's allies? Four more years of a three ring circus consistently taking place within the presidential administration?Four more years of a president whom the President's daughter deems, "the maximum leader"?  Four more years? I fear it may well be four more years if not longer. I fear the America our forefathers envisioned is all but a distant memory with the presidency of Donald Trump.

BIDEN HAS MY VOTE!

Our current president has failed in his most basic duty to this nation.

He failed to protect us.

He failed to protect America.

And, my fellow Americans, that is unforgivable. - Former Vice President and Democratic Presidential nominee, Joe Biden

Biden has my vote. For the first time in my life, I will be voting for a Democrat this November. I have been a Republican from day one and never have I voted for a Democrat until now. I,like so many prominent Republicans am putting the country over my party, and I am voting for the former Vice President, Joe Biden. I am voting for the former Vice President, because I truly feel for the sake of the nation, the nation needs Joe Biden.

America is in desperate need of a leader that can unify and heal the nation through these troubled times.Under the presidency of Donald Trump, America has almost 6 million cases of the coronavirus, the most in the world, in a country that has over 30 million of it's citizens uninsured. Under the Trump presidency, America has had over 180,000 deaths as reported by worldmeters due to the coronavirus, again the most in the world. Under the Trump presidency, there's anarchy in the streets, police officers senselessly killing Blacks, and Blacks senselessly killing Whites, and under the Trump presidency, America has over 16 million Americans that are unemployed as longtime and small businesses are going under on a daily basis. Donald Trump is clearly incapable of displaying the leadership so desperately needed in these dark times.

America needs a president that is truly a man of faith, not a man that feels a need to hold a bible up upside down as to show he is a man of faith. A man of faith would never answer, "it is what it is", when asked by a reporter about the fact that over 1000 Americans are dying a day. A man of faith does not insult and bully his opponents and reporters who are doing their jobs. A man of faith does not promote various drugs that could literally kill some. A man of faith does not approve a vaccine and or drugs not properly tested as to use them on people like guinea pigs in a laboratory.  A man of faith doesn't praise Dictators, look up to mobsters, and wish an accused child sex trafficker well. A man of faith does not look the other way and ignore the fact that over 180,000 Americans have died from a pandemic that he chose to ignore.A man of faith does not do half of what Donald Trump has done to the people of this nation. Donald Trump a man of faith? Donald Trump sent from God? I think not.

America needs former Vice President, Joe Biden. America needs a man that has the compassion and empathy that Joe Biden displayed at last week's Democratic National Convention. As I a longtime Republican, I was truly touched by the former Vice President's words. To be honest, I was even moved by the words of several speakers at the DNC, even those whom I had once strongly opposed. Not once in the past six months or more, have I felt moved by the president, Not once have I felt America had a president that truly cared about his citizens. Perhaps that's because America doesn't have a president that truly cares about his citizens. In watching the former Vice President, I felt I would again feel as though I had a president that had my back, and every other American's back as well. Under the presidency of Donald Trump, I haven't felt that. In fact, never in my life have I ever lacked such confidence in a president as I do in Donald Trump. I have completely lost all faith, and all confidence in Donald Trump. Perhaps I lost confidence when the president suggested people ingest or inject clorox as to kill the corona virus. Or, perhaps I lost confidence when the president promoted hydroxychloroquine, a drug that although effective on some, has been known to cause heart issues and heart failure in many, many others. Or perhaps, I lost confidence when Trump said that the coronavirus would just go away. Perhaps I lost confidence when the president admitted to be being advised on the coronavirus by Mike Lindell, the infamous "My Pillow" guy, who is a recovering drug addict. Or perhaps, I lost confidence when I caught the president lying in a press conference as he does regularly, but this time lying about what he said only moments after he had made the statement. Or perhaps,I lost confidence in the president when I observed he played golf when he should have been preparing for the pandemic that was to come. Or perhaps I lost confidence when he appointed his unequivocally, and unqualified daughter, Ivanka Trump, and son in law, Jared Kushner to his cabinet. Or perhaps, I lost confidence when one by one, members of Trump's cabinet were indicted for various crimes. Or perhaps, I lost confidence when it was revealed that Donald Trump knew that there was a Russian bounty place on the heads on American soldiers in Afghanistan. Or perhaps, I lost confidence when the president retweeted those involved in the QAnon conspiracy group. Frankly, there are so many disturbing incidents and statements that have been made and have occurred during the Trump presidency, I cant possibly place them down on paper in one blog. Suffice it to say,I have lost all confidence in Donald Trump and his administration, and that is why I am voting for Joe Biden.

I GOP GIRL of GOP GIRL BLOG will be voting for the former Vice President, Joe Biden. I will be voting for Joe Biden as it's time America again had a president that cares about more than himself. Not once has Donald Trump expressed his condolences to the family members and friends of the some 180,000 Americans that have died from the coronavirus. Not once has Donald Trump even mentioned the number of the deceased. No, Donald Trump chose to ignore the pandemic until his advisors told him that he needed to address the pandemic as his numbers were falling. Donald Trump, not once has stepped up to the podium and attempted to be a compassionate, caring, and empathetic president. I suppose that's because Donald Trump is incapable of being caring, compassionate, and empathetic. To be honest, the more I have seen Donald Trump, the more I have despised everything about him. In watching the DNC I was comforted by former Vice President, Joe Biden, and I wished that he were our president today. Joe Biden's words were comforting and soothing, much like the words of Queen Elizabeth during lock down. The former Vice President seemed fatherly and caring. The former Vice President came down on the president. He attacked the president not with insults, but with facts showing he has the knowledge and wisdom needed at present. The former Vice President was "presidential" something foreign for our current president.

It's not a matter of wanting the former Vice President to be elected this November, it's a matter of Joe Biden must be elected this November. Joe Biden must be elected because if not, I and many many others both Republicans and Democrats, feel our democracy is at risk.In fact, several Republicans even went so far as to speak at the DNC. The Former Republican Governors of Ohio and New Jersey, John Kasich, and Christine Todd Whitman, spoke on Biden's behalf as well as the former  N.Y.congresswoman Susan Molinari, Meg Whitman, a senior official for Mitt Romney's campaign, and most notably the former Republican Secretary of State, Colin Powell spoke at the Democratic National Convention in support of Vice President Joe Biden.( Please see below for a full list of Republicans endorsing V.P. Joe Biden)That being said, I too, am pledging to support former Vice President Joe Biden this November. I am voting for Joe Biden as I again want to be proud of my president. I want a president who not only appoints the most highly qualified, he listens to the most highly qualified. I want a president who expresses his condolences to Americans suffering in times of loss, instead of a president that boasts of his ratings, and gives himself self praise.I want a president whom I can trust, and whom I feel is doing his best to keep our nation safe.I want a president whom I am not in fear of what he will say and do next that will hurt the country's standing throughout the world. I want a president who has the class and dignity of someone for whom I will have the utmost respect. That man is not Donald Trump. That man is Joe Biden, and he has my vote!

163,902 Americans Dead, "It is What It Is"!

163,902 total Coronavirus deaths and rising, every 80 seconds an American dies from the coronavirus

Trump on 1000 coronvirus deaths a day in Axios interview with reporter, Jonathan Swan,"People are dying. And,it is what it is".

Empathy by definition is the ability to understand and share the feelings of another. Empathy is what is so so desperately needed in times of loss. Empathy is what is needed from presidents in troubled times. Empathy is an emotion that America's president seems to lack. In observance, it would appear that America's President doesn't express having empathy as he is incapable of feeling empathy. The president's inability to feel empathy or compassion was clear in a recent Axios interview on HBO. When Axios reporter, Jonathan Swan told the president that 1000 Americans were dying a day from the coronavirus the president answered by saying, "people are dying. And it is what it is."

Wow. I'm quite sure you could have heard a pin drop in most family rooms across America when the president said, "it is what it is". In fact, I'm quite sure the world was speechless at the president's comments. Lord knows the world has been in utter astonishment at how poorly America's president has handled the deadly pandemic. At the time of the Axios interview, over 150,000 Americans had died from the coronavirus. At present, the number is 163,902 dead. An American is now dying every 80 seconds, and today, for the first time since May, the U.S., recorded over 2000 deaths in just 24 hours. Most leaders would be horrified at those numbers, but Donald Trump is not most leaders. No, Donald Trump simply thinks, "it is what it is".

Over 163,000 Americans have died due to the coronavirus, and America's president has not once expressed his condolences to all those that have lost loved ones to the deadly pandemic. Not once. Not once has the president even so much as mentioned the number of lives lost to the coronavirus. One would think with the coronavirus task force press briefings the president might say a few words on those that have succumbed to this terrible disease. Nope, not our president. It's unimaginable, really. The president simply chooses to ignore the dead . He ignores the dead and he ignores the families and friends that have lost loved ones. It's quite remarkable. The president has not mentioned the now over 160,000 dead, yet the president has had no trouble stating how many lives could have been lost had he not put his ban on travel from China. The ban on China that was partial and that was as reported by the CDC to be too late. The president also has had no trouble stating how the pandemic response by he and his administration has been unprecedented. The president has had no trouble speaking falsehoods ad nauseum regarding the coronavirus, yet the president can't seem to bring himself to acknowledge the fact that over 160,000 Americans have died from the coronavirus. No, instead the president seemingly has chosen to completely ignore the fact that over 160,000 Americans have died from the coronavirus. Then again, perhaps the president was not aware that over 150,000 Americans, had died from the coronavirus prior to his interview with Jonathon Swan. (Now, over 160,000 Americans have died) Giving the president the benefit of the doubt, the president may well not have known over 150,000 Americans had died from the coronavirus until his interview with Jonathan Swan. How could the president possibly know how many Americans have died from the coronavirus? The president has been a busy boy. The president has been on the golf course, the president has been watching television, and the president has been tweeting incessantly. Quite frankly. I sincerely hope that the president has been far too busy with his trivial activities to not  know that over 160,000 Americans have died from the coronavirus. Not knowing that over 160,000 Americans have died from a pandemic that is far from being controlled is the only excuse for a president spending time golfing and tweeting.  Then again, perhaps over 160,000 dead Americans isn't a big deal to this president, as "it is what it is".

"It is what it is". I challenge the president to look at the television, and tell the families and friends of those 160,000 plus Americans that have died, and say,  "it is what it is". Is it to much to ask of a president to have just an ounce of empathy for those that have lost loved ones to the deadly pandemic that is upon us? Apparently so. Sadly, it's just too much to ask from a man that appears to be deeply disturbed and incapable of feeling empathy or any real emotion at all. Americans instead have a president boasting of how well he's done in his handling of the global pandemic and how fortunate we are to have him.

America is not fortunate. America is quite unfortunate. America is unfortunate as America has a leader that not only lacks the empathy needed in these troubled times, but America has a president that appears to just not care period. If the president did care about Americans, the president would do all he could to prevent death, not cause more death. Causing more death is no doubt what this president has done in his handling of the coronavirus, because the president sure as hell hasn't done much of anything to prevent death. If this president truly cared and wanted to prevent death, this president would first and foremost, wear a mask. As Senator Marco Rubio was quoted as saying back in June, "everyone should just wear the damn mask". Leaders around the world have been seen and photographed wearing masks, why not America's leader?  Why not? Because, regardless of the fact that the U.S. has more cases and more deaths than any other country in the world, the president just doesn't care. Experts have repeatedly said that masks work, and that 70,000 lives plus could have been saved had everyone across America worn a mask. That being said, America would have around 90,000 dead Americans right now and not over 160,000 Americans dead, but this president didn't care. Not only would the president wear a mask and promote the wearing of masks, but the president would also discourage schools in heavily infected areas from opening, he would encourage lock downs in heavily infected areas, and he would stress the seriousness of the pandemic  and how Americans must continue to social distance and must not let their guard down because the coronavirus is not going away anytime soon. Instead, America's president just doesn't care. America's president doesn't care and he instead chooses to continue to mislead and lie to the nation on the truths of the coronavirus.

America's president will no doubt contribute to thousands more of Americans dying from the coronavirus. Donald Trump will do this with his lies and misinformation. The fact is, the coronavirus is not going away anytime soon. At present, the majority of the nation has 40,000 or more cases of the coronavirus. The president's own great state of Florida along with California went over 500,000 cases and Texas is soon to follow.  Not only is the coronavirus not going to just magically go away anytime soon, but more and more people are dying of all ages from the coronavirus. The president has recently said repeatedly that children do not transmit the virus, and they do not get sick from the deadly virus . That being said, the president expects and wants schools in all 50 states to open. Unfortunately, the president is wrong as he is on most of his information regarding the coronavirus. Children DO in fact transmit the coronavirus, and children Do and have gotten sick and died from the coronavirus. As millions of Americans send their children back to school , they will be playing Russian roulette with their children's lives and their own. However, America's president won't have to worry about the health of his son, Baron and his family. Donald Trump won't have to worry because,  Baron will not be attending school this fall as his son's school will be closed. Sadly, millions of Americans will be putting their children's lives in danger, but as the president says, "it is what it is".

"It is what it is", maybe easy for America's president, Donald Trump to say, but I can guarantee the president. that "it is what it is ", is not so easy for the mothers of two children ages 6 and 7 that just recently died from the coronavirus to say. "It is what it is", isn't so easy for the men and women that have lost the loves of their lives to say. "It is what it is", isn't so easy for the children that have lost one or both parents from this deadly pandemic that is still very much upon us to say.  "It is what it is" is that  163,902 Americans have died. That's 163,902 Americans that had faces, they had names, and they had lives. Not only did those 163,902 Americans that died have faces. names, and lives,  but they had families, friends, and pets that loved them, but this president doesn't care. To again quote the president, "people are dying , and it is what it is".
